This role is crucial for steering data architecture initiatives and enhancing data product development to aid our global security monitoring efforts.

Position Overview

As the Director, Data Products and Architecture, you will report to the Senior Director of Security Capability. Your primary responsibilities include leading data architecture projects, developing innovative data products, and ensuring these products meet the needs of our vibrant data consumer base. You will actively market our data products, gather feedback, and constantly look for ways to improve data literacy and consumption across the company.

Key Responsibilities

The role demands a strategic leader who can manage impactful plans that enhance data integration, quality, and delivery. You will:

• Design and manage the data system frameworks, including databases and data warehouses.
• Implement cutting-edge data management systems and define data schemas to optimize storage and security measures.
• Translate complex business requirements into streamlined data models.
• Lead and innovate across analytics, data engineering, and data platforms to support our business initiatives.
• Craft and execute the data architecture simplification to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Advocate for data-driven decision making and increase data literacy within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in enterprise data warehouse design and implementation.
• Over 5 years of senior management experience in data-focused roles.
• Proficiency in AWS EMR, Azure Databricks, PySpark, and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C/C++, and familiarity with SQL, R, SAS, or Excel.
• Expertise in modern data architecture, including cloud services and real-time data distribution tools.
