Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Director of Data Science at our prestigious 30 Rockefeller Plaza location in New York City. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing our Peacock Video Streaming Service through statistical and machine learning methods to heighten user experience and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative analytical solutions across multiple business verticals including recommendation systems and personalized advertising.
• Lead a skilled team of data scientists to conceptualize and execute advanced data strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Drive the innovation of data models and machine learning tools.
• Play a central role in recruiting, training, and professional development of team members.

This position benefits from a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days in the office.>

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including expertise in machine learning model solutions and data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role with proven experience in managing diverse teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Substantial experience in the streaming or media industry is preferred.

Offering a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $240,000 per year, based on qualifications.
