Job Responsibilities
As a Director, you will:
- Act as a technical expert in data modeling and architecture.
- Research, analyze, design, and develop new data capabilities and products.
- Set technical standards and develop reusable frameworks for data creation.
- Oversee Service Provider deliverables, ensuring high quality and adherence to our standards.
- Research emerging technologies and solve complex technical issues.
- Support Marriott business teams with analytics-based decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in data strategy, management, and preparation with Oracle analytics.
- Experience in developing large-scale data pipelines and applications.
- 2+ years in data platform/application migration.
- Expertise in data architecture, modeling, and optimized data management.
- Proficiency in designing efficient data ingestion frameworks.
- Experience in managing big data solutions on leading platforms.
- Deep knowledge of SQL scripts, views, and tablespace management.
- Experience with Oracle Databases troubleshooting and Cost/Usage analysis.
- Strong communication skills and Oracle Certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Data Model and analytics/reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure PaaS.
- Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database and Data Warehouse.
- Skills in Airflow, Python, Data Governance Tools, and Hashicorp Tokenization Products.
- Familiarity with agile software methodologies and future data platform opportunities.
- Technology leadership in a sourced environment.
