Blackpoint was established by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts who used their knowledge to provide nation/state grade technologies to commercial clients worldwide. As the BI Director at Blackpoint, you will work with team members to develop, deliver and refine analytics that lead to data-driven decisions. You will act as a crucial promoter and advocate for the usage and management of information and analytics to guide and measure company performance and actionable insights for use in day-to-day and strategic decision-making. What You'll Do: - Collaborate with teams and leadership to facilitate the vision, understand business needs and objectives, gather requirements, and aid the delivery of a data-driven organization. - Propose significant metrics and KPIs to management to provide insight and decision-making capabilities. - Design and document dashboards, reports, and thresholds to alert business units of their business status. - Ability to present data in a format for easy consumption. - Have an analytical mindset for problem-solving, troubleshooting, and clear communication on data. - Monitor historical and current performances of key metrics to detect and report anomalies. - Keep abreast of current industry trends and make suggestions for future enhancements. What You'll Bring: - 5-10 years of experience with BI analysis and reporting tools. - Excellent analytical skills and understanding of financial concepts and products. - Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, exploratory data analysis, metrics definition, data visualization, and presentations. - Ability to identify and recommend current and emerging industry best practices in data visualization, analytics, and Business Intelligence. - Excellent judgment and ability to analyze issues quickly and independently and to take appropriate action with minimal supervision. - Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with business leads at all levels in the organization. - Ability to identify anomalies within extensive datasets, recognize trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations. - Ability to assess risk and identify program vulnerabilities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
