AI, Data & Quantitative Business Line Description

Our AI, Data & Quantitative Business Line operates universally through 6 Centers of Excellence based in the US, Canada, France, the UK/Ireland, the Netherlands/Belgium, Dubai, and Hong Kong, to enhance the value and accessibility of AI for our clients and for Sia Partners management consultants. Our team of 250 Data experts (comprising 80% data scientists, actuaries and ML Ops, and 15% Data Engineers and DevOps Engineers) work on novel AI algorithms to assist our clients in their technological transformation, making predictions, optimizing productivity, improving data quality, aiding decision-making, enhancing customer knowledge, among others.

We assist our customers in fully utilizing their data on their own platform, with the assistance of best-in-class AI techniques. We supply services from strategy, AI roadmap definition, and organization setup, to product industrialization, utilizing pre-built packages from our R&D Labs to augment our value and expedite delivery.

We’ve built heka.core, a proprietary DevSecOps platform that hosts our solutions, ensuring our applications' code best practices and secureness. Depending on the use case, our clients can either use heka.core directly or integrate it with their own platform.

We construct AI-powered heka.ai SaaS solutions oriented towards meeting specific use cases for which AI provides an answer to our customer’s needs.

Job Description

As a Managing Director, you will resource Sia Partners' growth by implementing your business development, sales, account management, and Data Science expertise. You will collaborate with a highly motivated global team of Directors, Partners and consultants based in the Netherlands.

You will be tasked with the development of the NL Data Science Center of Excellence in Amsterdam, looking after sales and occupation management:

• Lead sales to existing and new clients
• Head Commercial proposals
• Guide business delivery and team management for new and existing clients
• Meet both sales and delivery targets
• Offer technical leadership to a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data strategists
• Share industry guidance, strategies, and best practice implementations
• Recruit new talent and develop your Center of Excellence team to meet the expectations of a rapidly growing Business Line
• Construct and oversee your team on missions as well as in commercial undertakings
• Contribute to the internal project heka.ai, our accelerator for Data Science projects

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s Degree or PhD. Degree should be in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, among others
• You have at least 12 years of experience within a consultancy company
• You have relevant experience in presenting data science and advanced analytics solutions
• You have a proven track record in selling data science solutions across various industries
• You have the ability to establish, manage, and cultivate a team-oriented environment as well as mentor team members
• Superb communication and presentation skills
• You are dynamic and result-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Expertise in Dutch and English is essential
