Role Overview: Director* Statistical Programming (Oncology)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Formulating and implementing a global statistical programming strategy focusing on innovation in technology, automation, processes, and standards to enhance efficiency.
- Supporting the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive programming ecosystem to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Playing a part in both the development and execution of centralized data storage solutions.
- Setting departmental programming standards to address business necessities and regulatory demands, ensuring efficient and cohesive deliverable production.
- Pioneering solutions to standardize, automate, and optimize efficiency and quality.
- Developing tools for effective validation of derived datasets, such as SDTM, ADaM, and TLFs.
- Assembling a programming team to bolster an expanding pipeline.
- Producing ad hoc datasets and TLFs as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A BSc or MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector and/or CRO experience.
- Deep expertise in statistical programming using SAS (Base, Macro, STAT, GRAPH, SQL).
- Comprehensive understanding of global regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ICH) relevant to clinical data and reporting on clinical trials, including familiarity with CDISC standards.
- Proficiency in supporting electronic submissions and technologies involved.
- A track record of leading submissions and managing teams.
- Preferably, experience in the therapeutic areas of Oncology or Infective Diseases.
- Strong leadership and project management skills coupled with fluency in English.
