Salesforce is seeking an experienced Director of Threat Intelligence Engineering to design and manage our advanced threat intelligence platform and ecosystem. This senior role encompasses API management, extensive AWS service management, the Vertex Synapse threat intelligence platform, and Generative AI technologies to deliver top-tier security solutions globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Squad Leadership: Cultivate a team culture focused on continuous learning and innovation, encouraging exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead technology environments, mentor teams, and deploy critical threat intelligence systems.
• Cloud Infrastructure/Deployment: Utilize AWS technologies to create a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure optimized for real-time threat analytics and data processing.
• AWS Serverless Architecture: Design, develop, and manage serverless applications for threat intelligence, ensuring high-volume, low-latency transactions, and stringent security standards.
• API Management: Oversee API lifecycle management, ensuring their design, implementation, security, and optimization for seamless integration of distributed services.
• Data Pipelines: Engineer sophisticated data ingestion and transformation pipelines for dynamic threat detection and intelligence analysis.
• Deployment and Delivery: Streamline integration and delivery of serverless architecture for durable, repeatable, and reliable deployments.
• AI Integration: Implement and manage Generative AI technologies to enhance predictive analytics, analysis, and automated threat responses.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Programming Expertise: 5+ years of experience in programming, with a preference for object-oriented languages like Python.
• AWS Proficiency: 5+ years of experience in designing, managing, securing, and optimizing AWS cloud solutions, including advanced network setups and automated scaling.
• AWS Serverless Architecture: 5-10 years of experience in designing and managing AWS serverless applications with a deep understanding of RESTful services.
• Security Practices: Comprehensive understanding of modern security practices including advanced encryption protocols, API security mechanisms, and secure authentication methods.

Additional Qualifications

• Vertex Synapse Knowledge: Experience in managing and deploying the Vertex Synapse or similar platforms for handling large-scale datasets and real-time analytics.
• AI and Machine Learning: Experience with deploying AI and machine learning workloads, integrating these technologies into data analytics pipelines.
