Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and big data specialists on a wide variety of projects.
  • Develop project plans and support documents to drive the deliverables.
  • Lead resources located in multiple locations towards a common deliverable.
  • Communicate and influence audiences of various levels and diverse backgrounds.

Main Required Competences

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Engineering or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Equivalent work experience supporting analytical and/or process improvement projects in the area of Reliability or Safety domains.

Desirable:

  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or any certification in Agile project management.

Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Experience in data project management.
  • Experience in projects with customers.
  • Knowledge of Railway, Signalling, or Traffic fields.
  • Familiarity with Data Science modeling techniques or similar fields.
  • Basic software skills and knowledge, including at least one coding language and software release management.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge about software product design and requirement management.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and related implementation.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize, and plan to meet roadmap goals and objectives.
  • Ability to lead without having formal authority and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to listen to customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Proven capabilities with worldwide teams.
  • Fluent English. French is a plus.
