Job Description

We need someone like you to assist us in various areas:

· Actively work on software enhancement and process efficiency.

· Work on the technical design so solutions can meet the IT reference architecture for Santander C&IB.

· Propose software designs for applications or components, applying agreed standards, patterns and tools. Ability to understand complex architectures encompassing a plethora of technologies that need to communicate with each other.

· Willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the team achieves its objectives.

· Contributes to the technical requirements of all the products/features

· Understand the business logic so you can suggest improvements to the end-user areas.

Qualifications

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Required: Expertise in developing and managing ElasticSearch (ELK) environments.

• Required: Solid experience in creating efficient Kibana dashboards focusing on huge volumes of frequently updated data

• Required: Ability to translate end-user needs into smart data visualization with a high level of user experience satisfaction.

• Nice to have: Experience in developing Big Data technologies, especially Spark and Scala. Proficiency in Python, JSON API, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB), Docker, Kafka, Jenkins.

• Extensive knowledge of Cloud Computing environments.

• Exceptional work ethics, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled distributed team.

• Ensure software quality through continuous integration and test automation.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools: Jira, Confluence, GIT

• Strategic thinking, innovative attitude to challenge the status quo

• Excellent communication skills, including with high-level management.

EXPERIENCE

· At least 2 years of experience in software development business

· Fluency in Spanish and English

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
