Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Engineer, Data - FLYHUB to leverage cutting-edge data science and big data technologies to strategically guide data-driven decision making and innovation. You will collaborate with senior management to shape our data intelligence strategies, manage a talented team of data professionals, and optimize data-centric tools and technologies. Your role will be pivotal in utilizing advanced Data Science methodologies across unique datasets, directly collaborating with the business sectors, and driving our data-led transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Staying updated on latest trends in AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation, providing advisory input to key stakeholders.
  • Implementing and managing tools for data intelligence such as Quicksight, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Guiding the analysis of complex data sets to derive meaningful business insights.
  • Leading data quality projects and supporting data requirements for various initiatives.
  • Mentoring team members to bolster the portfolio’s success and fostering a cooperative work environment.
  • Collaborating with IT architects and data privacy officers to develop essential policy standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • First Degree in Information Studies, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering (IT-focused), or Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Cloud analytics tools like Quicksight, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Analytics/AI, ideally within the financial services industry, handling large and complex data sets.
  • Certifications in Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI are highly advantageous.

You should excel in generating ideas, exploring possibilities, documenting facts, and convincing people. Ability to meet tight deadlines, work effectively in team settings, value individuals, articulate information confidently, check details meticulously, establish rapport swiftly, and follow procedures diligently are important. Technical prowess in AI and Machine Learning, as well as broad knowledge in IT applications, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering are essential.
