Job Description

The role entails developing and maintaining an all-encompassing data architecture across several application platforms, affording capability across application platforms. Responsibilities include designing, building, operationalising, securing and monitoring data pipelines and data stores as per applicable architecture, solution designs, standards, policies and governance necessities, thereby making data accessible for evaluation and optimisation for downstream use case consumption. The incumbent will also be performing data engineering tasks in line with standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• A primary degree in Computer Science or Information Technology alongside Microsoft SQL Server certification or similar qualifications.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a SQL Developer with an outstanding mastery of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with PowerApps will be considered a plus.
• At least 5 years' experience in dashboard development using PowerBI or Qliksense.
• The ability to build databases, and a minimum of 5 years' experience with tools such as SSIS, Data Stage, SAP Data Services, Data Ingestion.
