Title: Engineer I (AI/ML) - Software Configuration & Development, Research IDS
Location: Bangalore, India
Path/Level: R1

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for various applications.
  • Analyze and preprocess datasets to ensure data quality and relevance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
  • Optimize and tune models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Document processes, models, and methodologies to ensure reproducibility and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.

Basic Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an AI/ML engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience with model development and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
  • Knowledge of deep learning, ML Ops: Kubeflow, MLFlow, Nextflow is a plus.
