Engineer(Mid-Level) - Python, Snowflake cloud database, Chennai-India

Responsibilities

• Writing intricate code to build scalable, user-friendly applications.
• Developing code to enhance responsiveness & overall performance.
• Perform increasingly complex analysis and development tasks that may necessitate extensive research and analysis.
• Assess technologies we can employ, including python frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• Maintain and ensure the quality of the code. Develop application code and unit test cases.
• Work in collaboration with Agile cross-functional teams.
• Experience using configuration management tools (GIT), understanding configuration concepts, and continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo).

Qualifications

Looking for a passionate coder, eager to learn, adapt to changing needs, and capable of working independently. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ideally, the candidate is able to thrive in a team setting, collaborating with various stakeholders to build top-tier applications.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of software development experience with Python programming.
• Good understanding of Python frameworks & libraries. Experience in Azure cloud is essential.
• Experience in Snowflake or other data warehouses system is mandatory.
• Understanding of the Java programming language is advantageous.
• Knowledge to write performance-oriented code. Good understanding of SQL & PL/SQL concepts.
• Experience in transformation projects is a plus.
• Experience in using tools like JIRA, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Confluence etc.
• Experience with agile software development practices and DevOps.
