Job Description

HII's Mission Technologies is seeking an Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation (Engineer Systems 3) to support the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for the Joint Staff J7 (JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate system simulation frameworks, performance models, threat models, and command and control models.
  • Create software to simulate user and system behavior.
  • Develop and utilize graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
  • Model operational environments, conduct trade studies via simulation, and provide decision support for alternative architectures.
  • Perform operational and mission effectiveness analysis.
  • Design and build training models as necessary.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts within the field.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of related disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of experience; or PhD or Juris Doctorate with no experience; or High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
