About This Role

Our engineering division is actively seeking skilled software engineers to design and develop comprehensive, scalable applications. By leveraging cutting-edge technology in open source software, databases, cloud solutions, and various programming languages, you will help us maintain our competitive edge and serve our clients with groundbreaking insights.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, you will:

  • Develop robust software solutions and automate tasks across trading, sales, asset management, and finance sectors.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data scientists, and cloud engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Use innovative approaches and passion for problem-solving to deliver high-quality products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven skills in object-oriented or functional programming.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • At least 6 years of software development experience.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience with Java, C++, Python, and knowledge in concurrency and memory management.
  • Proficiency in responsive web development with React, Angular, or Redux, and extensive JavaScript knowledge.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elastic Search.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in front-office trading technologies.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
