As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead teams developing flagship voice-AI-driven games on platforms like Roku, FireTV, and Alexa.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic and product decisions aligning with Volley's vision.
- Build and manage machine learning systems and pipelines.
- Collaborate with data science, product, infrastructure, and safety teams.
- Ensure engineering outcomes meet high standards of code quality, system design, and scalability.
- Manage and motivate a team of engineers, providing development opportunities and feedback.
- Make resourcing decisions based on first principles and recruit top-tier, diverse engineers.
- Contribute to overall engineering leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in hiring diverse teams.
- Passion for gaming and innovation in game development.
- Experience managing teams with real-time, distributed data processing.
- Thrives in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing, Audio ML, Signal Processing, or Text Generation.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years of direct engineering management experience.
- 1+ years of experience with ML models or ML infrastructure.
- 5+ years as a software developer; game development experience is a plus.
- Technical credibility with a proven record in deploying machine learning models.
- Strong product sense and ability to influence overall strategy.
- Creative problem-solver and motivating team leader.

For Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $166,881 - $229,461 annually, depending on experience, education, and skills. This range is part of the total compensation package, recognizing employees for their contributions.
