Job Summary

As the Engineering Manager for ML Infrastructure, you will spearhead the critical infrastructure essential to our organization’s success. Located within our Platform team, this role is pivotal in enhancing our platform’s performance, reliability, and scalability while ensuring excellence in code integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Platforms Team, establishing the roadmap in sync with our overall technological vision.
• Engage hands-on with the codebase, contributing through enhancements and fixes.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical strategies.
• Champion a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and proactive improvement across the engineering spectrum.
• Develop and enforce top-tier security protocols to safeguard our platforms and data integrity.
• Drive team growth through focused recruitment, mentoring, and skill development.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and evaluate their potential integration into our operations.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of professional experience with a focus on infrastructure, including at least two years in a managerial role.
• Strong communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Expertise in creating and managing high-performance infrastructure and real-time data pipelines using Kubernetes, Dask, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in MLOps and machine learning workflows.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Working Conditions

Position based in our NYC office. Occasional after-hours work may be required to manage system emergencies or critical updates.
