Join Perficient as a Remote Enterprise Data Architect

Perficient is seeking a talented Enterprise Data Architect to join our dynamic Data Solutions Team. This is a remote position available anywhere in the US, with minimal travel required.

Role Overview

As an Enterprise Data Architect at Perficient, you will:

• Provide comprehensive architectural solutions for diverse projects.
• Define scope and work size, and lead Proof of Concept developments.
• Develop solution architectures addressing business problems and platform integration.
• Design and develop complex features tailored to client business needs.

What You Will Do

• Identify and deliver the best business solutions utilizing data technologies, Gen AI, and AI/ML.
• Understand customer needs, processes, and pain points to define success factors and evaluation criteria.
• Assist in strategic engagement planning, helping clients make future vision decisions.
• Execute established methodologies, identify data needs, explore data, and report findings.

Specific Duties

• Lead pursuit teams as a technical SME for RFP responses and proactive proposals.
• Collaborate with multiple business units within Perficient.
• Guide complex client engagement delivery, managing ambiguity and little direction.
• Plan and lead client workshops to understand current landscapes and requirements.
• Create phased implementation roadmaps from scope and resources perspectives.
• Articulate complex architectures to both technical and non-technical client teams.
• Learn new technologies and platforms quickly to stay relevant to client needs.
• Lead global teams across multiple time zones.
• Represent Perficient as an authority on enterprise architecture at industry forums and conferences.
• Take ownership of solutions and teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience architecting enterprise architectures in multiple domains.
• Proficiency with industry-specific tools and technologies.
• Expertise in at least two hyperscale technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouse or Lakehouse platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Understanding of data trends, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Master Data Management.
• Familiarity with Data Governance Concepts.
• Experience with virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex solutions to varied audiences, from department directors to C-Suite.
• Experience with both on-premises and cloud technologies.
• Skills in building and modernizing architectures with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to create engaging presentations using various tools.
• Up-to-date with AI tools and technologies and industry trends.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730, considering factors like skill sets, experience, and location. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or potential equity or variable bonus programs. See our benefits overview for more information.
