Job Responsibilities

Peraton is actively seeking a skilled Software Data Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit. Operate within one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts in the Intelligence Community. This full-time role requires 1880 hours of annual support at a client site.

As an Enterprise Infrastructure Software Data Engineer, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
  • Review and test software components to ensure adherence to design requirements and document test results.
  • Utilize software development and design methodologies suited for the environment.
  • Provide input on software components of system design, including the use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development.
  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and problem areas, and collaborating with users or system engineers.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience in Software Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an appropriate field from an accredited institution; OR
  • Six (6) years of experience in Software Engineering with a High School Diploma or GED; OR
  • Three (3) years of experience in Software Engineering with a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an appropriate field from an accredited institution; OR
  • A PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an appropriate field from an accredited institution.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for the position.

Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
