We are hiring an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Specialist who will also work in materials control, ensuring that ERP product data is precise and up-to-date.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the efficiency, quality, and accuracy of ERP master data.
  • Provide essential ERP inputs to improve kitchen processes, streamlining inventory management, cost control, production planning, and recipe management.
  • Continuously assess product data through the usage of exception reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Identify and resolve issues, communicating with relevant departments.
  • Participate in the change order process and the introduction of new products, taking responsibility for ERP-related activities.
  • Guide on efficient structuring of change requests related to data release and maintenance in the ERP system.
  • Engage in continuous cycle counting and annual inventory audits, reporting discrepancies.
  • Generate and report on inventory control metrics like actual vs. theoretical usage, stockouts, and cycle count accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of manufacturing processes and systems, collaborating with facility leadership to meet kitchen operational requirements.
  • Create essential reports to assist facility leadership in informed decision-making.
  • Ensure ERP data compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the ERP system, understanding its configurations, modules, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 1+ years of experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems or similar platforms and modules like finance, inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementation, customization, and maintenance is highly valued.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and build robust relationships with key stakeholders.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Compliance with company dress code and production kitchen standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Capability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation.
  • Hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and temperature variations (freezing, refrigeration, high heat).
  • Working in wet and dry conditions.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Use of ladders may be required.
