Position Overview

Our Focused Equity group is expanding and looking to welcome two experienced Fundamental Equity Research Analysts to our team in Boston. These positions will play a crucial role in supporting our Quality and Real Assets (Resources, Climate Change) strategies, focusing on global equity portfolios with a long investment horizon emphasized on business quality, secular growth drivers, and stock valuation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct differentiated fundamental research.
  • Develop robust financial models.
  • Analyze current portfolio positions across multiple sectors and explore new investment opportunities.
  • Present well-reasoned recommendations to portfolio managers.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in equity research.
  • Proficiency in fundamental analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a strong ability across team environments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence to express bold ideas and the flexibility to align with group decisions.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis software tools like Bloomberg and Excel.

Preferred Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of sectors or stocks relevant to the Quality or Real Assets strategy.
  • Quantitative abilities including programming, statistics, or proficiency in tools like Matlab or Python.
