In your role as a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing data and pipeline architectures, and for optimizing data collection and flow across functional teams. Your responsibilities include assisting software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists with data initiatives and ensuring a consistent data delivery architecture is put in place throughout ongoing projects. Job Description: You must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. You'll have 3+ years of hands-on experience of data analytics solutions on cloud platforms with a minimum of 2 years using Microsoft Stack (Onpremise). Your duties will entail ensuring that data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and otherwise optimized for storage and use according to business and technical requirements. You will be expected to develop and maintain innovative Azure solutions and design solutions using Microsoft Stack and other tools. You must be able to automate tasks and deploy production standard code (with unit testing, continuous integration, versioning, etc.). Additional responsibilities include loading transformed data into storage and reporting structures, building data pipelines, extracting data, troubleshooting, and maintaining the data warehouse. Technical Skills: You should be able to collect, manage, analyze and visualize data, and develop, construct, test and maintain architectures (such as databases and large-scale processing systems). You should have the ability to work with multiple data sources and databases and have knowledge of databases like SQL/NoSQL, Azure Synapse/SQL DW, SQL Database and SQL Server, etc. Project Skills: Experience in shaping and planning projects through either Waterfall or Agile methodologies is a requirement. This includes translating business requirements into technical specifications, participating in the project lifecycle, developing client relationships, collaborating with our wider teams, and taking an active role in coaching and developing skills for more junior team members.
