Position Overview

Join our Advisory Line of Service in the Technology Sector at the manager level. Support PwC in implementing and migrating business intelligence (BI) solutions with Google Cloud as a data platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into data models and BI solutions.

- Support data warehouse migration projects during all phases.

- Ensure existing client reports and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) are converted to access data sources in Google Cloud.

- Use tools to discover existing BI dashboards and reports, assess dependencies on legacy data warehouses, and support migration planning.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data & analytics teams on the client side.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is experienced in migrating Teradata to BigQuery and has a strong background in:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translating them into actionable data analysis plans.
• Utilizing SQL, Python, R to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.).
• Discovering and assessing existing dashboards, reports, and data models to identify dependencies on legacy data warehouses.
• Planning and implementing the repointing and conversion of data models and assets to target solutions on Google Cloud (BigQuery).
• Designing and implementing data products, ideally with experience in data mesh architecture.
• Developing and maintaining data models for efficient analysis and reporting (Data Vault, Kimball, 3NF, etc.).
• Designing and building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Looker for effective communication of insights.
• Performing statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in data, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Collaborating with data engineers and scientists to ensure data quality and consistency.
