Your Role: ETL Developer

As an ETL Developer at Dun & Bradstreet, you'll play a vital role in our team by supporting and maintaining various systems and workflows. Your primary responsibilities will involve troubleshooting, error correction, and implementing changes. You'll also take part in significant projects like the migration of ETL workflows into Pentaho, involving the enhancement and stabilization of existing ETL jobs/workflows and their transition to cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular support and maintenance of diverse systems and workflows.
  • Leading the ETL migration project from old platforms to Pentaho.
  • Managing versions using GitHub Enterprise.
  • Handling daily tasks in development tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Collaborating across teams to develop resilient technical solutions and shared designs.
  • Providing technical guidance including code review, test automation, and implementing DevOps best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with ETL tools, specifically Pentaho Data Integration preferred.
  • Proficiency in handling relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Advanced SQL capabilities - adept in writing and understanding complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with PL/SQL and stored procedures in Oracle.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Linux and bash scripting.
  • Experience with JavaScript in Pentaho, alongside Perl scripts and basic Java coding.
  • Familiarity with various file management types including XML, text, and Excel files.
  • Understanding of Regular Expressions (RegExp).
  • Knowledge of Perl programming is an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is necessary for effective communication.
