The Opportunity:

As an ETL Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen, you can tackle problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. The role goes beyond just coding. As a senior full stack developer, you'll leverage your expertise to master new tools and techniques, and identify essential system improvements. You'll assist clients in overcoming their most challenging issues using cutting-edge architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. Ensure that solutions developed by the team align with the current architecture, operating environment, and future functionality enhancements. Work with us to shape systems for the better.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using agile methods
  • 5+ years of software development experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience with databases, query languages, Java, JavaScript, APIs, web architecture, and applications
  • Proficiency in both back-end and front-end languages for developing comprehensive solutions
  • Experience in creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Experience as a Data Engineer or in a role with a focus on ETL processing
  • Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and technologies such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica, and SQL skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
  • Experience with real-time data processing and stream processing technologies, such as Kafka and Flink
  • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations
  • Knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
