Role Summary and Description

This role is ideal for a highly motivated ETL QA Analyst with a strong background in analyzing diverse source data, testing various data feeds, and performing UI testing within an Agile environment. The successful candidate will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes and data feeds.
• Perform database testing to validate data integrity, transformations, and mappings.
• Execute UI testing to ensure data visualization and user interaction meet requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Work as an individual tester within a development team, ensuring timely and effective testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Document test results, defects, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies in ETL testing and QA methodologies.

Core/Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an ETL QA Analyst with expertise in SQL Server and database testing.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting complex data validations.
• Experience with UI testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Java automation frameworks like Selenium or TestNG.
• Familiarity with Azure and Snowflake data platforms.
• Experience in API testing.
