Job Description

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior/Mid-level Snowflake Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in helping one of our esteemed clients succeed and will be stationed in McLean, VA for a long-term duration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate enterprise-wide data systems.
• Construct complex data models and perform business analysis through SQL queries on the Snowflake platform.
• Collaborate with various data teams company-wide to ensure delivery of analytics projects.
• Maintain database integrity while developing and supporting periodic metrics reports.
• Enhance the performance, efficiency, and accuracy of all data queries.
• Deliver actionable insights to business partners, focusing on key performance indicators through regular and ad-hoc analyses.
• Lead process and reporting enhancements and foster cross-team collaboration to scale processes effectively.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in data warehousing technologies, specifically Snowflake or other modern databases.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in constructing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Demonstrated understanding of Data Warehousing principles applicable to big data applications and services, ideally on the Snowflake platform.
• Prior engagement with ML/AI teams will be considered an asset.
• Expertise in database architecture & development with a knack for writing optimized queries and managing dimensional data effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to manage several projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail with robust verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
