We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Principal Software Engineer Data Management professional specializing in Data Catalog and Data Quality. This key leadership role involves developing strategies, roadmapping, and broadening the implementation of Data Quality and Data Catalog tools across one of the globe's most influential financial institutions.

As part of the Everest Data Platform team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., the successful candidate will collaborate closely with various technology groups, playing a pivotal role in understanding their unique needs and facilitating the adoption of advanced Data Quality and Data Catalog solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and organization-wide adoption of Data Catalog and Data Quality tools.
• Engage independently with other tech teams to promote the understanding and use of key data management tools.
• Forge partnerships across technology and business realms to gather precise requirements and provide optimal solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in the data management sector and encourage their adoption within the company.
• Function as a subject matter expert in Data Quality and Data Catalog, including educating users and developing usage metrics.

Essential Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience in banking, product management, or project management.
• At least 5 years in data engineering, data management, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in managing comprehensive projects and teams.
• Familiarity with major Data Quality and Data Catalog tools and Cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and capacity to drive significant change within complex programs.

Preferred Skills

• Exceptional communication abilities and proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint to represent projects at senior management levels.
• An undergraduate degree is advantageous.
