Role Overview: Data Product Engineer

We are seeking an Experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves developing cloud-based data strategies aligned with BIETC’s goals of enhancing aerospace domain applications through multi-cloud solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Understanding and handling aerospace-specific data
• Defining and monetizing data products effectively
• Building self-service data capabilities for users
• Ensuring data integrity across different stages and patterns
• Prototyping and assessing technical feasibilities
• Creating impactful solutions with outcome-based approaches

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Data Engineer
• Profound knowledge of Datawarehouse, Datalake, and Datamesh
• Proficiency in ETL tools, data ingestion patterns, and data pipeline orchestration
• Expertise in SQL and No-SQL databases, along with Data Modelling
• Experience in global teamwork and a global mindset

Core Technical Skills:

• Python, SQL, Pyspark
• Big Data Ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, HDFS, Hbase)
• Spark Ecosystem and Databricks
• Azure Cloud Technologies

Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree and typically 8-10 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience.
