Job Description
- As a manufacturing process supervisor:in, you are independently responsible for overseeing fully and semi-automatic plants as well as the associated testing devices in wafer manufacturing in the area of defect engineering (DFE).
- You are also responsible for the development of complex manufacturing processes to improve process stability and quality. The increase in yield and the optimization of complex manufacturing plants, taking into account manufacturing capacities as well as future technical requirements, is part of your scope of work.
- Furthermore, you are responsible for optimizing work processes and improving machine availability to reduce manufacturing costs. You also take over the improvement of complex manufacturing processes and technologies for automotive and consumer products, as well as the procurement of the necessary manufacturing plants.
- You conduct training sessions, assume technical leadership of process engineers and production staff, and coordinate field-specific projects.
- The development of new manufacturing processes, taking into account new technologies, is supported by you.
- Last but not least, you take care of the adaptation of known technologies and methods by other semiconductor manufacturers and their implementation.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed university degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable course of studies
- Experience and know-how: Knowledge and practical experience in semiconductor or MEMS manufacturing; detailed knowledge in the area of defect engineering (DFE); long-term experience in setup creation and optimization at wafer inspection or review systems
- Personality: You are responsible, creative, communicative, team-oriented, resilient and proactive
- Working method: You work independently and take the initiative
- Languages: German and English in word and writing
