Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable, reliable, and secure hybrid cloud ML Ops infrastructure for deploying, testing, managing, and monitoring ML models in diverse environments.
• Developing and maintaining software applications focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Collaborating closely with data scientists and back-end developers to build, test, integrate, and deploy ML models.
• Analyzing performance metrics and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Designing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing orchestration solutions and data versioning tools.
• Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constantly tracking their performance.
• Designing IT architecture for solutions in the NLP/ML/AI fields, and coordinating its implementation considering master- and meta-data management concepts.
• Providing security studies, security assessments, or other security matters associated with information system projects.

Job Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with specialization in artificial intelligence, ML operations, or data engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of managing on-prem and/or cloud MLOps infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of application containerization and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Airflow, MLflow, TensorFlow (TFX), Kubeflow, or equivalent tools.
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with NLP/ML libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, scikit-learn, pandas…).
• Good knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Bash.
• Understanding of natural language processing systems lifecycle and agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
• Experience with query languages, such as SQL, Hive, Pig, etc., and information extraction.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, etc.) and AI frameworks.
• Experience with alignment models and classification methods.
• Proven experience with data analytics over large datasets, non-structured databases, and data lakes.
