Overview We're seeking an operations analyst with direct experience in garnering data-driven information and insights regarding customer experience, customer journeys and related internal operations to aid in focusing improvement initiatives. This is a remote position. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship or C2C. Duties & Responsibilities - Develop and implement data storage solutions to support BI and data visualization - Lead and coordinate resources responsible for data readiness and extraction in context of BI and data visualization - Establish processes for data retrieval, cleaning and conditioning for effective data analytics - Establish processes for testing and troubleshooting data flow and platform performance - Create and revise dashboards supporting various business units - Identify improvement opportunities and document design requirements for enhancing data flow effectiveness - Support IT in system modification as needed, both technically and as a business owner, to achieve improved data flow designs - Guide data migration as new analytics and/or storage systems are implemented - Collaborate with IT to ensure effective data security and backup procedures - Document conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts and communicate with stakeholders - Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements Desired Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence - In-depth understanding of database structure principles, especially in BI/Data Visualization application environment - Proven ability to communicate with clients at any level - Proven ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and document business requirements - Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint - Fluency in SQL - Proficiency in BI tools and environments, specifically PowerBI and/or Tableau - Proven track record of transforming data into story driven narratives - Experience with Azure or AWS preferred - Proven analytical skills - Problem-solving attitude - Strong interpersonal, communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Microsoft PL-300 Certification - Azure DP-900 Certification - Experience with a scripting language (Python, R, etc.) Compensation For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is legally obliged to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and considers a broad range of factors that are taken into account when making compensation decisions such as skill sets; experience and training; licensing and certifications; and delivery model. This is a short-term consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $45-$70. Years of experience, education level, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
