Job Description:

As a Data Engineer, you will develop and manage cutting-edge data solutions on platforms like AWS and Azure. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of product management from conceptualization and development to deployment and enhancements. Your role focuses on leveraging cloud technologies for superior application and data management, ranging from automated cloud solutions to microservice architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage AWS/Azure based data pipelines.
• Design applications using Python and Java.
• Utilize Big Data tools like PySpark, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka.
• Optimize SQL and build scalable data warehousing solutions.
• Participate in an Agile environment, focusing on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a good understanding of Java.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and financial sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
