What You Will Do

You will be part of technical teams that guide clients in the Life Sciences and Public Health sectors through the selection, implementation, and improvement of healthcare fraud detection technologies. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Querying large healthcare datasets and designing processes to identify fraud typologies.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance tools and models related to fraud management.
  • Analyzing historical data to produce reports and conduct root-cause analysis on fraudulent activities.
  • Developing fraud detection rules and models, including their validation and performance assessment.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors to optimize their solutions for client-specific issues.

What You Will Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in fraud detection and healthcare data analytics.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL and familiarity with database management systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
  • Willingness to relocate to NYC or DMV area and travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Desirable Additional Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Experience in management consulting or with fraud software vendors in the financial crimes market.
  • Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and statistical tools.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for these roles is $71,800.00 to $107,600.00, depending on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications. Guidehouse offers a robust benefits package that includes:
