Role Overview:

The Product Specialist for Generative AI is a pivotal role at Databricks, focusing on spearheading the enablement and support for our field teams in technologies including RAG (retrieval augmented generation), open-source models such as Llama2, MPT, Mistral, and third-party models like OpenAI. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Generative AI solutions and enhancing our market position.

Key Responsibilities:

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers to achieve product adoption targets and refine product direction. Your expertise will not only guide our internal teams but also extend externally through speaking engagements and customer interactions. While you won’t have direct reports, your leadership will galvanize a team of dedicated specialists to advance Generative AI applications across various customer scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who bring over a decade of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning. Your ability to articulate a clear value proposition and your proficiency with tools such as PySpark and SQL will be essential. A leadership background in similar technology domains with significant interaction with senior technical stakeholders is highly desirable.
