Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a clever, analytical thinker who is excited to enable data-driven decision making in an exciting and fast-growing organisation! As a Financial Business Intelligence Analyst, you will design, develop, and maintain our business intelligence reporting tool, Looker. Beyond just creating reports, you will be expected to understand the business needs of the finance team and tailor an experience that allows them to work with maximum efficiency and effectiveness. We are at a crucial and exciting time in our organisation and delivering the right insights on time to our stakeholders is key to our ongoing success. The role's responsibilities include:

• Working with Finance Systems and Analytics teams to expand integrations between NetSuite and Looker
• Assisting in development of automations for revenue and billing processes
• Collaborating with other Flywire teams (including Product, Analytics) to develop flexible reporting solutions that integrate seamlessly with their day-to-day work
• Providing training and support to the Finance team on our BI tools

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Financial Operations or related field
• Proven ability to translate business questions into easily understandable dashboards and visualisations
• Development experience with Looker business intelligence software (candidates with exceptional experience with other BI tools may also be considered)
• Experience in data modelling, SQL development and optimisation (experience with BigQuery is preferred)
• Experience working with a finance team, particularly in regards to billing and revenue
• Experience in creating data extraction and manipulation scripts in Python and/or R is a plus
• Strong communication skills: You can make even the most complex data easily to understand
