Opportunity Awaits in Finance: Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) in Financial Controlling

We are currently seeking to expand our energetic, growth-driven team with a new role for a Financial Controlling - Senior Data Engineer. This position offers a creative space for initiative and personal development within a supportive business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the realignment and development of our controlling reporting process.
• Efficient structuring of existing and fluctuating data into a profit-center focused framework.
• Act as an interface between business management and data management.
• Identify data sources, design and implement data schemas/models, and integrate data to meet reporting requirements.
• Develop and enhance SQL applications.
• Collaborate proactively across various areas essential to reporting processes.
• Identify potential data quality issues and suggest improvements for data reliability and quality.
• Support the team in crafting complex SQL queries and documenting processes.
• Provide training related to your expertise.

Your Profile:

• Strong background in SQL databases, with Python skills being a plus.
• Hands-on experience in data analysis, data modeling, and development of reporting pipelines.
• At least 3 years of business experience in a banking environment, familiar with market aftermath, IFRS, UGB, DWH, and related fields.
• Experience with S4 Hana is advantageous.
• You are committed, precise, solution-oriented, structured, and have strong analytical skills.
• Keen interest in banking combined with practical, hands-on technical abilities.
