Responsibilities:

As an Associate 2, you will:

  • Prepare private equity and hedge fund financial statements according to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Clear comments, assist with drafts, and manage distributions to clients and auditors.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate and meet deadlines.
  • Assist in the self-review and delivery of services.
  • Manage time effectively and escalate issues to the Senior Associate or Officer.
  • Complete and sign off on all SOPs and checklists.
  • Utilize automation and technology efficiently.
  • Volunteer for ad-hoc projects and handle last-minute requests.
  • Provide on-the-job training and ensure activity coverage.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related accounting or finance field preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
