Findable: Data Engineer

On behalf of our client Findable, we are looking for a motivated Data Engineer who wants to join an exciting journey. We are looking for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and who wants to influence how artificial intelligence and the construction industry can be linked together. As part of Findable, you will work with technologies such as Python, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.). At Findable, work is done both to develop the product and simultaneously listen to the customers and their needs. Today, Findable consists of various teams and you will be part of the Engineering team consisting of 5 people. You will also work closely with the DeepTech and Customer Success team, thus getting involved in various parts of the company. About Findable Buildings are currently responsible for a total of 39% of global greenhouse gas emissions and we are entirely dependent on reducing this if we are to achieve our climate goals. Findable was launched in 2020 by a group of entrepreneurs who saw that documentation in the construction industry often was deprioritized. We could see that the key to more reuse is a good system for using the potential. Much material can be reused, but today's laws and regulations require thorough documentation, which in practice means tons of files, paper, and data. Findable has developed a platform that can categorize the documentation and lets their own algorithms handle the sorting. The result is a kick-ass document system tailor-made for the construction industry. At our place, there are experienced people working with backgrounds from the likes of Google, Yahoo, Cisco, and FLIR. The platform has been developed in collaboration with some of Norway's largest property actors, such as Statsbygg, AF Group, Betonmast, and Stavanger municipality. Currently, Findable has about 70 paying customers, both public and private, and is looking out for new markets. Pilots are already being run abroad and KOMPAS VC, Construct Venture and Malling & Co Venture are in on the investment side. Requirements A Data Engineer at Findable Do you recognize yourself in one or more of these points? Experience with the tech stack; Python, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) 1 year or more with relevant competence You speak, or at least read and write Norwegian well Experience in handling and manipulating large datasets Previous experience with Start-ups Previous experience as a consultant Desire to create a kick-ass document system If so, we would love to have a chat with you!
