Firmware CI/CD Technical Lead/Architect
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Firmware CI/CD Technical Lead/Architect to design and lead our firmware continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline as an AI-native solution. This role will involve architecting, designing, coding, testing, and deploying solutions that meet our high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design firmware CI/CD pipeline based on AI-native solutions.
- Lead design and development stages including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, integration, and deployment.
- Review and evaluate designs for compliance with systems guidelines and standards, providing feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.
- Drive the technical roadmap for CI/CD architecture enhancements and changes aligned with overall strategy.
- Serve as the CI/CD technical point of contact for firmware communities globally, representing the team in relevant forums.
- Communicate architectures and design proposals to senior management, negotiating options where necessary.
- Provide technical leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, initiatives, and activities.
- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and secure global stakeholder alignment for new features and AI initiatives.
- Introduce the latest industry trends in CI/CD with demonstrable outcomes.
- Act as a conduit between teams interacting with Build, Infra, Dev, and QA across all stages of the firmware lifecycle.
- Contribute to process definition rollouts for efficiency and quality improvements across labs.
- Provide technical guidance and support on operational activities.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Skillset:
Must-Have:
- Prior experience in architecting CI/CD pipelines or similar software applications using tools like Jenkins and Rabbit MQ.
- Strong design and debugging skills.
- Experience in developing applications with OOP programming languages such as Object-Oriented Python, C++, or Java.
- Knowledge of REST-based Web Services/Microservices.
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to virtualization and Docker architecture.
Desired:
- Familiarity with Groovy pipeline and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of Frontend Technologies like React JS, Node JS, or Vue.js.
Good to Have:
- Understanding of Kubernetes and application performance techniques.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Familiarity with data analysis, ML frameworks, and libraries.
