Located in the vibrant heart of New York, we are at the forefront of applying advanced AI technologies, such as generative models, reinforcement learning, and symbolic AI to create software that can autonomously execute complex goals.

Our aim is to transform software applications into autonomous agents capable of independently trading information, making decisions, and interacting with both users and other applications. With a team composed of former leaders and founders from Meta, Monzo, and QuantumBlack, we are building solutions tailored for complex, high sensitivity cases in enterprise environments.

The Role: Founding AI Engineer

As a Founding AI Engineer, your role will be pivotal in developing and enhancing our agent-driven infrastructure. This opportunity involves everything from data ingestion to crafting cutting-edge action-taking solutions. We value professionals who act decisively, enjoy working through ambiguity, and are eager to take full ownership of their projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with researchers to bring the latest automation and reasoning breakthroughs into practical applications.
• Designing and implementing data collection techniques for the optimization of generative action models.
• Developing pipelines to manage, process, and utilize reference datasets and tools aimed at achieving defined goals.
• Creating comprehensive end-to-end machine learning models to drive self-improving autonomous agents.
• Constructing both public and private knowledge graphs for advanced generative models.

What We Look For

• Demonstrated outstanding ability in your field.
• Proficiency with generative model architectures, including Retrieval Augmented Generation, Graph Learning, and tree-search augmented LLMs.
• Experience developing scalable data applications using Python and engaging in full-stack ML development.
• Documented contributions to major deep learning publications (ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
• Background in evolving fast-paced enterprise software within a growth-driven environment.

Compensation

For your commitment and expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $100K to $180K, alongside an equity stake of 0.25% to 1% in Occam AI.
