Responsibilities

Data Engineering

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for handling large volumes of data from diverse sources.
2. Utilize distributed computing frameworks like Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, to efficiently manage big data tasks.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and devise cutting-edge solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
4. Monitor and address any performance issues of data pipelines, enhancing reliability and efficiency continually.

Data Warehousing

1. Create and optimize dimensional data models and database schemas for better analytical query and reporting performance.
2. Develop and refine ETL workflows to ensure data quality and consistency across loaded data in the warehouse.
3. Enhance data warehouse architecture and implement strategic indexing to streamline data storage and retrieval processes.
4. Work alongside business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate analytics and reporting requirements into functional technical structures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and knowledgeable in SQL databases.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical prowess and problem-resolution skills, capable of handling complex data needs and crafting technical solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary groups efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiar with data visualization tools.
• Skilled in programming languages like Python/Java and database management with SQL.
