Key Responsibilities

As a GCP Cloud Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Designing and implementing data solutions using GCP services like BigQuery, DataProc, and Cloud Data Fusion.
• Developing data models and pipelines from a wide range of data sources and formats.
• Building, managing, and optimizing data architectures to support enterprise analytics.
• Interfacing with clients to understand their technology needs and designing tailored solutions.
• Leading teams and promoting a collaborative work environment to enhance productivity and innovation.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 8 years of experience in data engineering or architecture, particularly with a focus on data analytics and reporting using GCP.
• Advanced skills in big data technologies and tools such as Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, Kafka, and more.
• Proficiency in designing cloud-native applications, data warehousing and modernizing business applications through cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and project management abilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Google Cloud certifications such as the Google Cloud Data Engineer are highly preferred.
