The Role

As a General Lawyer on our Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data & AI Legal team ("CPDA Legal"), you'll be part of a global team spanning the U.S., U.K., and EU. This role is perfect for candidates with an international outlook and the ability to collaborate with colleagues worldwide on cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory matters.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide range of cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory issues related to Incident Response and Investigation, Cybersecurity and Privacy Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and Policy, Strategy, and Governance.
  • Providing actionable legal advice to business teams, including the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), and other relevant Kyndryl Global Practices.
  • Managing and leading multi-stakeholder incident investigations and project teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position in the U.S. is $154,710 to $371,300 based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation may vary based on your location, skills, and experience. Part-time roles will have adjusted compensation. This role is eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program based on performance and subject to the terms of our applicable plans. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.

Please note, for sales commission eligible roles, a sales commission plan will replace the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are

We seek candidates with an understanding of global legal and regulatory developments in cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI governance. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • JD from an accredited law school or equivalent international law degree.
  • 3+ years of legal experience, either in-house, with a law firm, or a combination of both.
  • Valid license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Strong analytic, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of diverse, multi-cultural teams.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Understanding of U.S., European, or international cybersecurity, data privacy, AI, and governance principles, laws, or policies.
  • Experience in IT, outsourcing, managed services, or cloud computing industries.
  • Relevant experience or a degree in engineering, software, computer science, or digital forensics.
  • Additional language skills.
