Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) at SAP is the core IT force driving operational excellence. Tasked with the mission to CREATE, BUILD, and RUN the Intelligent Enterprise, we deliver customer-centric insights and state-of-the-art technologies. Our ITD Technology Services division, including the Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data (DAB) teams, is the technological backbone that propels all aspects of innovation, architecture, and development within SAP.

As a Generative AI Engineer in our GenAI Center of Excellence (CoE), you will be part of a global cadre of AI professionals, contributing to high-profile projects from Europe to Asia. This role offers an unmatched chance to excel in a vibrant, innovation-led environment where continuous learning is the norm.

What You’ll Do

Join forces with AI scientists, engineers, and product experts to:

• Co-develop Large Language Model Platform-as-a-Service with our engineering teams.
• Design and implement generic services enhancing applications driven by Generative AI.
• Ensure system integrity and optimal performance through proactive maintenance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Explore various Large Language Model deployments and their business applications, including OpenAI and LLaMA.
• Keep abreast of cutting-edge advancements in machine learning and Generative AI to leverage in business processes.

What You Bring

Your academic and professional background includes:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Up to 3 years of experience in deploying machine learning models within an enterprise setting.
• Advanced skills in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python and tools like Git and NodeJS.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and ideally, experience with SAP-specific platforms and tools.
• Strong analytical skills, independence in handling responsibilities, and proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication abilities to articulate complex technical details to non-experts.
