As an ML engineer, you will be integral in training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models that learn from data, working closely with data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Train, test, deploy, and maintain ML models
  • Apply best-fit ML algorithms and technologies to deliver mission-critical solutions
  • Collaborate within a large community of ML engineers
  • Work alongside data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners
  • Help clients navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in ML, data science, software engineering, data research, or analytics
  • Experience with both open-source and proprietary large language models (LLMs)
  • Proficiency in LLM operations and API management
  • Knowledge of feature selection, computer vision, or natural language processing
  • Frequent scripting experience with Python and R
  • Ability to explain complex workflows and technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with agentic workflows using LLMs
  • Proficiency with LLM orchestration frameworks like llamaindex, Langchain, and Haystack
  • Experience in developing recommendation engines and information retrieval systems
  • Finetuning LLMs with libraries such as PEFT and TRL
  • Ability to design custom evaluation frameworks
  • Capacity for independent work and minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and initiative in fast-paced environments

Compensation and Benefits

The projected salary range for this position is $75,600 to $172,000 annually. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, along with paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Full- and part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for most benefits.
