Role Overview

We are on the hunt for a skilled Generative AI Engineer to spearhead the development of our next-generation intelligent translation and translation-related services engine. This role focuses on the application of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies. As an integral member of the GenAI team, you will not only design and implement cutting-edge algorithms through rapid prototyping but also collaborate extensively with our software team to ensure seamless model deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced LLM techniques including continued pre-training, instruction fine-tuning, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists to develop, test, and refine models.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in GenAI and LLM from both industry and academic leaders to guide technological advancements.
• Optimize algorithms for both training and inference phases using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and enhance performance across various hardware setups.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of generative models using key metrics to fine-tune performance, emphasizing stability and generalization.
• Work closely with software and DevOps teams to deploy GenAI models efficiently.
• Document all processes, maintaining high standards for reproducibility and version control, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Position Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
• Preferably 1+ years of industry experience in developing applications using GenAI and LLM.
• Proficiency in Python and solid software development skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable, production-grade systems.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Huggingface APIs or Amazon Bedrock will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to a varied audience.
• Experience in GPU programming and optimization methods preferred.
