About the Role

As a Generative AI Specialist in our Legal Chief Data Office, you'll be pivotal in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to enhance our Legal Department's operations. Your responsibilities will include managing a variety of development projects to integrate GenAI capabilities into traditional Legal applications, overseeing large language model (LLM) projects, and leading special projects across governance, training, education, and research areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys, business, and operations stakeholders to pinpoint and prioritize business challenges solvable through LLMs.
• Coordinate with technology teams to design and execute pilots or proofs of concept (POCs), and work with Legal Product teams to execute LLM solutions.
• Offer consultative support to Product teams integrating LLM solutions into their offerings.
• Develop and maintain operational models to guide engagement within and across teams for delivering AI solutions.
• Handle reporting for LLM initiatives across the Legal Department.
• Prepare presentations and materials for various meetings including stakeholder reviews and leadership discussions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Large Language Models in a corporate legal environment.
• Demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional projects and coordinating multifaceted team efforts.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities.
• Excellent requirement gathering and concise writing capabilities.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as MS, MBA, or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and MS Project; JIRA knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis or a related field.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Extreme Programming (XP) environments is beneficial.
