Barry Callebaut is seeking a talented Global Digital Data Strategist to develop and lead our digital data strategy. This pivotal role will involve shaping the setup, tools, and methodologies for data collection, analysis, and interpretation to drive data-driven decision-making. You will report directly to the Global Digital Marketing Director and collaborate with stakeholders in Digital Sales and Global Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and own the data strategy for collecting, organizing, visualizing, and applying data from various sources to support the Digital Marketing and Sales strategy.
- Configure and maintain the data infrastructure to accelerate analysis and reporting, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adequacy.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track customer engagement, marketing, and e-commerce performance, as well as marketing efficiency based on strategy and annual goals.
- Implement predictive modeling techniques to optimize marketing and e-commerce campaigns, increasing customer engagement, conversion rates, and driving revenue growth.
- Design A/B testing frameworks and assess model quality to improve campaign outcomes.
- Utilize advanced analytics to build insightful dashboards that communicate key findings, performance metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels.
- Transform complex data into easily understandable visualizations using data visualization tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines (e.g., GDPR), and digital governance across platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital data analysis and collaborate closely with the technical development team.
About You
- Over 6 years of hands-on professional experience in digital data management, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics for commercial divisions.
- Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and modeling tools, programming languages, machine learning, and AI.
- Proven expertise in understanding and utilizing statistical concepts and A/B testing.
- Experienced in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce, web analytics, and CRM systems.
- Strong project management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Full proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
