Job Summary:
GlobalFoundries’ Global Supply Chain team is looking for an Analyst to join their team in Austin, TX. This person will focus on driving process improvements across multiple teams and developing various data roadmaps.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Involve in projects dealing with upstream and downstream data flows and processes to ensure compliance with data governance policy.
- Suggest changes to improve process efficiencies, ensure professional and prompt communication with users, management, and senior leadership regarding recurring issues. Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with master data policies and communicate non-compliance when necessary.
- Analyze data and process issues as raised by the business, Information Technology (IT), self-found and department found, evaluate the impact, and create/implement action plans as necessary. Use analytical skills to identify trends (use Excel for analysis).
- Develop and manage reporting solutions, including dashboards, reports, and visualizations that fulfill business requirements and promote organizational growth.
- Assess and identify gaps between current and future state data models and create data remediation plans. Verify and make corrections via audit reports to ensure standardization daily.
- Implement Data Quality Roadmap; enhancing data quality monitoring, problem resolution and dashboarding capabilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks safely and responsibly while supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with a Master's degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Must have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA and proven solid academic standing.
- Language Proficiency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Travel - Up to 10%
- Competence with SQL or other query and business analytics tools
- Solid understanding of data management concepts, principles, and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Proven leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute relevant solutions; the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient planning & organizational skills
- Knowledge of data analysis & reporting
- Strong business and economic acumen.

Expected Salary Range
$44,100.00 - $78,800.00
